Can you advise me where I could find the following information
I am trying to find out where my father was stationed in England in 1942 he was in the RCAMC 2nd field ambulance and posted to england in 1942

Based on the limited information available it appears that 2 Light Field Ambulance was deployed to Salisbury on arrival in the UK and subsequently move to the Mediterranean where the unit supported the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade in the Italian campaign and then on to Northwest Europe to the end of the war
