. . . that on the frontlines in the COVID 19 battle are two former CF medical officers:

Dr. Jennifer Russell the Chief Medical Officer of New Brunswick, who completed the Medical Officer Training Plan and served for 10 years including five years in Ottawa as the Base Surgeon at NDMC.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Bonnie Henry, the British Columbia Provincial Health Officer, who was a  RCN GDMO and served at CFB Esquimalt and onboard HMCS Provider.  She was qualified in dive and flight medicine. Suibsequently, Dr Henry worked internationally with the World Health Organization in Pakistan and Uganda.
